Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Office Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Office Nurse will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care in an office setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations and treatments
- Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing medical supplies
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license
- Proven experience as a nurse in an office or clinical setting
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
